Competition Details

Following the success of our Prevention for Profit campaign we’re excited to launch the “Technology for Profit” competition for 2025.

This time round, we’re looking for Irish dairy farmers who are adopting technology to improve productivity, sustainability and profitability. The #TimeForTech concept highlights the vital role of innovation in improving farm sustainability, enhancing productivity, and shaping the future of dairy farming.

The competition is aimed at dairy farmers who are successfully integrating technology across the four key pillars of dairy production systems – Nutrition, Genetics, Management, and Animal Health to optimise performance and profitability.

One dairy farmer will be selected from each of the four provinces. The four finalists will be profiled on the use of technology across the four pillars of production. A panel of industry experts will conduct a farm visit to evaluate how effectively technology is enhancing productivity and profitability on each farm

All four finalists will receive an all expenses paid study tour to a country in Europe.
